Podcast Episode 26 – Some Tips for Visiting Cusco (From Someone Who Lives Here)

This episode is going to be part of a series spread out over time covering little tips I’ve collected while walking around. Whenever I think of something, I write it down then expand on it as times goes by.
Safety seems to be everyone’s first concern even if they don’t talk about it much. Few people want to visit a place that is unsafe. Getting around then usually comes up next and that something of prime important in Cusco because it can be a very, very confusing city since the central historical district is not laid out in a way that many are used to. The colonial and Inca influences dominate, but that leads to the third part of this episode — just getting out and experiencing the city.
I probably rambled a little more than I should have in this episode and I’m sure there will be questions — please leave any in the comment section at the end of this page — that I’ll return to in later episodes covering this and similar topics.
