Podcast Episode 40 – Start Planning Your 2026 Machu Picchu Trip Now!

Most people don’t realize just how important it is to start planning for your trip — especially if you want to trek the famous Inca Trail — long before. These are not things that should be left to the last minute. In some cases even the last month is too late.

With 2026 Inca Trail tickets becoming available yesterday, it’s expected that they will begin to go fast and will start selling out much quicker than you realize as the route is often completely booked months in advance.

While there are many reputable companies, I’ve found that these two consistently are professional and highly recommended over the years. (I haven’t been on the trail itself, but I have traveled and talked with guides and porters and staff many times over the years. If everyone acts professional when their clients are not around, it’s a safe bet they are even better when they are with you.)
